Encounter
June 21, 7pm
St. Thomas A Becket Catholic Church, in Findlay Hall
1421 Wiehle Ave., Reston, Virginia
We will have a beautiful time of Praise and Worship to enter into the Lord's presence in a special way, open ourselves to receive wonderful gifts and the outpouring He wants to give.
Deacon Marques Silva will be continuing teaching on the charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit. His talk from last time is available at: http://goo.gl/zbkLm
We have seen some incredible healings and other mighty moves of God. Please come with anticipation and expectation of receiving the gifts He bestows so freely on His people. Bring a friend who needs to know God's love and glory.
These are gatherings for Praise and Worship, teaching from the Bible, and ministering in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gatherings are an opportunity for the Body of Christ to use the charismatic gifts in the group, and then become ignited and emboldened to take these gifts out to the world which needs them. We surrender our expectations to God's will.
Encounter nights are occasions for all to be ministered to, filled with the Holy Spirit, and equipped to do what God calls us to do.
A priest is often here and he is available for Confession during the time of ministry.

"When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim." - Acts 2:1-4
