Encounter
Friday, May 18, 7pm-9pm
St. Thomas a' Becket Catholic Church, in the sanctuary
1421 Wiehle Avenue, Reston, VA
These are gatherings for Praise and Worship, teaching from the Bible, and ministering in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gatherings are an opp
ortunity for the Body of Christ to use the charismatic gifts in the group, and then become ignited and emboldened to take these gifts out to the world which needs them.
We hope these “Encounter” nights will be occasions for all to be ministered to, filled and equipped in a way that only the Holy Spirit can do.
We surrender our expectations to His Divine Lordship. A priest is often here and he is available for Confession during the time of ministry.

"When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim." - Acts 2:1-4
Get to know the Holy Spirit.
Miracles: Healing for a Broken World by Fr. Stefan is about people from the area who have experienced healing. Proceeds go to the Paul Stefan Home for Expectant Mothers.

"God is always faithful to His promises, but He often surprises us in the way He fulfills them."
